Finger-licking Good Grilled Chicken

It's school holidays here in Australia and with beautifully warm weather (26 degrees, blue skies), what better way to spend it then to have a picnic in the park with friends. So what do I make to bring to the park which is easy to make, yet healthy and delicious for the boys?  One thing that came to mind is the surefire winner of finger-licking good grilled chicken.

I usually serve this on a bed of rice for dinner, so normally marinating it for 30 minutes would be sufficient. But because we are going to leave the house in the early hours, I will have to marinate these overnight, making it taste even finger-lickin' better!

Ingredients :

2kg chicken drumsticks
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon grated ginger
2 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoon dark soy sauce
2 tablespoon oyster sauce
2 tablespoon sweet chilli sauce
dash of pepper

Steps :

Combine all ingredients together, and refrigerate the chicken in the marinade for 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celcius.

Place an aluminium foil over a baking tray, place the chicken in a single layer and cover them with foil. Bake for 30 minutes on each side. Remove the foil and futher grill it for 5 minutes on each side.

Serve with your favourite sauce over a bed of rice.

Can you have a guess what kind of sauce my boys like to eat with this? (If you guessed tomato sauce, you are completely on point!!). Hope these are finger-licking' good for you, as they are for us.
